Looking for Something Different to Do in the Valley this Weekend?

    The Valley is chalked full of places to eat, shop, and just kinda sit around but if you are looking for something a little different this is the weekend to do so! Starting today the City of McAllen is putting on Music After Hours Craft Fair an outdoor concert series that is held every first Friday of the month from September through May at Archer Park. It is a free event open to the public and pet-friendly. If the music scene isn’t your crowd then maybe UTRGV Brownsville Science and Arts Festival is your thing. Saturday, November the 7 UTRGV Brownsville will be hosting the Science and Art Festival from 12-4pm. Still wanting for art with a cultural vibe the city of McAllen is hosting the Mexican Artisan Expo at the McAllen Creative Incubator on Main St. The free public event will be filled with artisans from all over Mexico including Nuevo Leon, San Lui Potosi, Oaxaca, and Tamaulipas.
